# How to Disconnect or Remove Noiz Mail

This guide ends a Noiz Mail connection: signing out so the AI app can no longer reach your mailbox, removing the connector from the app altogether, and stopping every connection at once. Your mail is not affected by any of these.

**Last reviewed:** 4 November 2026, against the current AI apps and the live Noiz Mail connector.

## Disconnect in Your AI App

- **Claude:** in **Customize**, then **Connectors**, open **Noiz Mail** and click **Disconnect** to sign out. To delete the connector, choose **Remove** from its three-dot menu. On Team or Enterprise only an Owner can remove it, from **Organization settings**, then **Connectors**.
- **Claude Code:** run `claude mcp remove mail`.
- **ChatGPT:** in **Settings**, then **Plugins**, open **Noiz Mail** and choose **Disconnect**.
- **Grok:** go to **grok.com/connectors** and remove **Noiz Mail**.
- **Codex:** run `codex mcp logout mail` to sign out, or `codex mcp remove mail` to delete the connector.

Disconnecting tells the AI app to forget its token. To be sure the connection is revoked on our side as well, use the manage page too.

## Disconnect on the Manage Page

Go to [mcp.noiz.co.za/mail/manage](https://mcp.noiz.co.za/mail/manage), sign in with your main mailbox (the first one you connected) and click **Disconnect**. The connection is revoked at once and the AI app's next request is refused. To drop one mailbox from a connection and keep the rest, click **Remove** next to it instead; the main mailbox cannot be removed.

## Stop Every Connection at Once

Change your mailbox password and update your mail apps. Every connection that holds that mailbox stops the next time it is used, whichever AI app made it. For a Plesk-hosted mailbox, see [How to Change an Email Account Password in Plesk](/plesk/how-to-change-email-account-password-in-plesk/).

## Ask Us to Revoke It

If you cannot reach the AI app or the manage page, [open a ticket](https://www.noiz.co.za/submitticket.php) with the mailbox address and we will revoke every connection to it. Never send us your password.

## What Is Deleted Afterwards

A revoked connection's sealed password and tokens are deleted 30 days after revocation, and its audit lines expire 30 days after they were written. See [Security and Privacy](/noiz-mail/noiz-mail-security-and-privacy/).
