# How to Change View Mode in Plesk

The **Websites & Domains** page in Plesk used to offer three view modes: Active List, Classic List and Dynamic List. **Plesk has removed that choice.** Every Plesk account, including yours on Noiz hosting, now uses **Dynamic List** view, and there is no longer a control to switch to another layout. This guide explains what changed and where to find your tools, so older instructions and screenshots still make sense.

**Last reviewed:** 23 September 2026, against the current Plesk Obsidian release. This guide is written for Noiz hosting and is kept current against Plesk. It complements, and does not replace, the official Plesk documentation linked below.

### Official Documentation Reference

- [Plesk Obsidian change log](https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/obsidian/change-log/): the vendor's record of the change. Search it for "Dynamic List" to see the entries that switched all users to Dynamic List view and removed the ability to select a different view.
- [Dynamic List vs Active List (Plesk blog)](https://www.plesk.com/blog/product-technology/dynamic-list-vs-active-list-a-comprehensive-comparison-unveiling-the-ultimate-winner/): Plesk's explanation of why it standardised on Dynamic List.
- [Overview of Plesk Interface (Plesk Customer Guide)](https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/customer-guide/quick-start-with-plesk/overview-of-plesk-interface.74282/): how the rest of the Plesk screen is organised.

## Prerequisites

- Your Plesk login details for your Noiz hosting account.

## What Changed

- **Active List** is no longer available. It showed each domain as a large panel of icons.
- **Classic List** was reworked to behave like Dynamic List, and the option to choose it as a separate view has been removed as well. Classic List lives on as Dynamic List's option to open websites on a separate page instead of in an expanded row, which you can set in the domain list settings on the **Websites & Domains** page.
- **Dynamic List** is now the only layout. Your domains appear as a compact list, with subdomains and aliases shown under the domain they belong to, and a search box for finding a domain quickly.

If you are looking for the **Change View** button or the wrench icon described in older guides, it is not missing from your account: Plesk no longer has it.

## Finding Your Tools in Dynamic List

Click **Websites & Domains** in the sidebar menu, then click a domain in the list to open its card. Depending on the domain list setting above, the card opens in an expanded row under the domain or on a separate page. The card groups that site's tools, such as files, databases, mail, hosting settings, SSL/TLS and scheduled tasks, into tabs and buttons, so everything for one site is in one place.

Older guides and screenshots may describe Active List steps, such as a **Hosting Settings** icon under a domain name. The setting has not gone: open the domain's card and look under **Hosting & DNS**. If a tool is not on the card at all, it may not be included in your hosting plan.

## Need a hand?

If you cannot find a tool you used to reach through the old view modes, or the page will not load, contact the Noiz support team through your client area and they will help you sort it out.
